Here are my favorite verses to recite for nonbelievers who just don't get it -- especially when the going gets tough.
Around May of 1983, approximately 4 months before Soviet interceptors killed him by shooting down Korean Air Flight 007, Congressman Larry McDonald (a cousin of General George S. Patton) takes on Pat Buchanan and Tom Braden on Crossfire as they badger him about his new role as Chairman of the John Birch Society. He easily handles them and answers questions concerning the Elite's Conspiracy for a One World Government. Larry was considering a run for the US Presidency.
At Tokyo's Kanda Myojin Shrine, Shinto Ritual Participants Cleanse Themselves With Freezing Cold Water in early January. The ritual is known as misogi. Spiritual devotion through frostbite.
Imagine a religious gathering involving half-naked men rolling around in mud and flinging it at each other. At the Dairokuten-no-Hadaka Festival in Chiba, Japan participants in loinclothes fling mud about in a cold pond for the sake of good harvests and good fortune.
With all due respect.

Anglican priest Pete Owen Jones explores the huge number of ancient Christian texts that didn't make it into the New Testament. Shocking and challenging, these were works in which Jesus didn't die, took revenge on his enemies and kissed Mary Magdalene on the mouth. Pete travels through Egypt and the former Roman Empire looking at the evidence of a Christian world very different to the one we know, and finds over seventy gospels, acts, letters, and apocalypses all circulating in the early Church

On Saturday, March 8th, 2008, Richard Dawkins gave this lecture on The God Delusion during his US Tour. The event took place on the UC Berkeley campus in Wheeler Auditorium, and was completely sold out. A line of hopeful attendees stretched around the side of the building, waiting to see if there would be any 'no-show' tickets at the last minute! There was a Q&A session that followed the talk, which will be posted to the site soon. Camera by Josh Timonen and Wayne Marsala Edited by Josh Timonen
Sam Harris: What happens if you really follow the bible
Hey, I finally submitted an actual link... :) "No, no no, but, okay, no no, this is wrong." - Laura Ingraham Courtesy of the voice of Ned Flanders, Harry Shearer brings us an insider's view of failed radio pundit Laura Ingraham's short-lived television show on Fox News. See self-professed Christian Ingraham shine as she breaks the 3rd Commandment to publicly berate her underlings with seething scowls and bitter passive aggressivity. Wait. Agressivity? Is that even a word? But take heart, dear viewers. You'll ultimately cheer when this rag-tag, feel-good gang finally comes together in a moment of racism as, apparently, all Hispanic-looking folks on Fox News are "illegals." Ooh. Awkward. And where the $*@# was Tom?! Let's watch...
